Oats Pancake
Easy, sugar free oat pancakes are a healthy, filling breakfast can be made in minutes. These pancakes are made with oatmeal ground to a flour and all purpose flour.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup instant oats (ground to flour)
1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 1/2 to 2 cups of milk (skimmed if you like)
1 egg (lightly beaten)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions
- In a blender, combine milk, egg and oil blend well.
- Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients all at once.
- Stir In large bowl, combine flour, oats, baking powder and salt mix well.
- Stir well until dry ingredients are moistened and combined.
- Heat a pan or skillet over medium-high heat and slightly grease the pan.
- For each pancake, pour 1/4 cup batter into hot skillet. Turn when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked and slightly browned.
- Serve & enjoy!
Tips:
- If you like you can substitute all purpose flour for whole wheat flour.
- You can also use oats as it is without grinding them.
- If you like sweetened form of this you may add berries and bee honey as toppings.
