1 tsp oil
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp water
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp vinegar
1/4 cup water
Directions
- First cut the meat around the chicken wings or drumettes and pull it towards the top to shape it like a lollipop.
- Marinate the chicken with soya sauce, pepper powder, salt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste and chili powder. Wrap the chicken bowl and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight is best.
- Once taken from the refrigerator, mix cornflour well into the marinated chicken drumettes.
- Deep fry them in hot oil or grill. (I have deep fried them)
- Once fried, put the chicken lollipops in kitchen towels to drain the excess oil.
- Now prepare the chili coating. Heat oil a pan or wok.
- Saute ginger garlic paste and chopped onions in the oil.
- Mix the chili powder with 2 tsp water and make a thick paste. Add this paste to the oil. Saute.
- Next add the vinegar stir and then add the sugar and 1/4 cup water and saute well.
- Let it simmer until it becomes thick.
- Dip the chicken lollipops into this and serve hot.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves (optional). Enjoy!!
